Ballot BoxHorsenden Lane North
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Large, much renovated, pub located at the root of Horsenden Hill now with a single bar. The building dates from the 1930s when it was a Benskins house but the original Ballot Box stood at the other side of the hill near to the canal since at least 1726. It was so named because bargees used to cast their votes there in 19th century elections. Now very much a food oriented pub under the Hungry Horse Brand
